For a while now, I have been slowly creating various power icons for characters from my World of Supers game (a superhero rpg).
The ones on the left are "ranks" their Superheros have chosen, and the image appears just below their avatar in the forum. [link]
The square icons to the right are representations of various character powers that they possess. You can tell what most of them are, but others are more metaphorical since the power is complex.
